This past Wednesday night was date night, and Brian first made me Cincinnati Chile before we went to go see Changeling, a movie based on the true story of a woman living in LA in the 1920s whose son disappears. The movie focuses on the corruption in the LAPD at the time (however, this could be very true to the LAPD today as well). The movie was wonderfully directed and very well done, but it was so difficult to watch. There are some hard themes throughout the movie, and I was crying so hard halfway through the movie that Brian had to ask me if we needed to leave. I stuck through it, but the movie has haunted me for the rest of the week. It is so gripping, but not for the faint of heart. I will say that I would recommend it to anyone; just because a movie is hard to watch does not mean that it shoudl not be watched.
The "comic relief" part of this post comes when Brian and I were exiting the movie theater and saw none other than Will Ferrell! Apparently he and the director of one of his movies must have been screening a film to see how it was received by audiences. I told Brian that we should go up to him and say that we just saw Changeling and needed him to tell us a joke, but felt kind of strange about it. We ended up walking within two feet of him. Oh, Los Angeles. Only here can I go see a movie at the local movie theater and be watching with famous people.

Estefania!!!! You FINALLY posted. Oh, friend, we have been long awaiting this. AND YOU SAW WILL FERREL. Let me just say, I wish you had talked to him, purely to see his reaction. Do I need to move to LA, or are you going to start talking to stars when you see them?!
